ABC Declares Tuesday, October 10, National Hug-A-Kevin Day, in Honor of ‘Kevin (Probably) Saves the World’

IN HONOR OF ‘KEVIN (PROBABLY) SAVES THE WORLD’

Series Star Jason Ritter Attempts to Break GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ Title for Most Hugs Given in One Minute By an Individual LIVE on ‘The View,’ October 9

Inspired by ABC’s new series “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World,” the network has declared TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10, as “National Hug-a-Kevin Day!” On this occasion, people are encouraged to hug a ‘Kevin’ in their lives. If you are unable to physically hug your Kevin, please visit facebook.com/KevinProbably/ to share the love with our “Kevin.” It’s time to spread some hugs and goodwill! Please hug responsibly.

To help kick off this momentous day, series star Jason Ritter (“Kevin Finn”), will attempt to break the current GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for Most hugs given in one minute by an individual with members of the studio audience LIVE on ABC’s “The View” on MONDAY, OCTOBER 9 (11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EDT). It has been a life-long dream for Ritter to break a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title and he has been taking his training seriously. The current record is 79 hugs which was set in India in March 2016.

Tune in to “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World,” TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10 (10:01-11:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network. “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” is produced by ABC Studios. The series is co-created and executive produced by Michele Fazekas & Tara Butters (“Marvel’s Agent Carter,” “Resurrection,” “Reaper”). In addition, the series is executive produced by Chris Dingess and Craig DiGregorio. “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” stars Jason Ritter as Kevin Finn, JoAnna Garcia Swisher as Amy Cabrera, Kimberly Hébert Gregory as Yvette, Chloe East as Reese Cabrera, J. August Richards as Deputy Nate Purcell, Dustin Ybarra as Tyler Medina and India de Beaufort as Kristin Allen.
