ABC’s ‘The Story of Diana’ Wins Viewers for the 2nd Night in a Row

“The Story of Diana – Part 2” (9:00-11:00 p.m. – 6.0 million and 1.0/4 in AD18-49):
Building on its lead-in at 9:00 p.m. (+76%/+43%) and growing throughout its telecast, “The Story of Diana” made ABC the most watched network in its 2-hour time period for the 2nd night in a row(6.0 million) against stiff competition, including the premiere of NBC’s “SNL: Weekend Update” and CBS’ “Big Brother.” From its first hour to second hour, part 2 of “The Story of Diana” gained 5% in viewers (5.8 million to 6.1 million) and 10% in Adults 18-49 (1.0/4 to 1.1/4) to rank as the No. 1 program in the 10:00 p.m. hour on both measures.
