Formed in 2009, the ABC Entertainment Group, comprised of ABC Entertainment and ABC Studios, develops and produces compelling programming across all day parts for both national and international broadcast and digital platforms, as well as for national syndication.

ABC Studios

ABC Studios is a global leader in the development, production and distribution of entertainment content across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. The studio is the primary content provider for ABC Entertainment, producing hit series for the network, including “American Housewife,” “black-ish,” “For The People,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “How to Get Away with Murder” and “Station 19”; co-productions “The Good Doctor,” “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “Speechless”; and late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” along with “Criminal Minds” for CBS. For the 2018-19 season, ABC Studios is producing the new dramas “The Fix” and “Grand Hotel,” as well as the new comedy “The Kids Are Alright,” along with co-productions “A Million Little Things,” “The Rookie,” “Schooled,” “Single Parents” and “Whiskey Cavalier” for ABC. Under the ABC Studios umbrella is also ABC Signature Studios, a dedicated division spearheading development and production in premium and basic cable, as well as streaming platforms. ABC Signature Studios’ returning and upcoming series include “Godfather of Harlem” for EPIX; event limited series “Little Fires Everywhere” and “Marvel’s Runaways” for Hulu; “Besties,” ”grown-ish” and “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” for Freeform; and “SMILF” for Showtime. In addition, ABC International Studios oversees global development and production. The studio is currently in production on the second season of the drama series, “Harrow,” streaming domestically on Hulu.

ABC Signature Studios

ABC Signature Studios is an artist-driven division of ABC Studios spearheading year-round development and production across the cable and streaming landscape. Most recently, Signature received a straight-to-series order for “High Fidelity” for the Disney direct-to-consumer streaming service. Created for streaming by Veronica West & Sarah Kucserka, Zoë Kravitz will star and produce alongside West & Kucserka and Midnight Radio. Signature is currently in production on the series “Godfather of Harlem” for EPIX, created by Chris Brancato and Paul Eckstein with Forest Whitaker starring and executive producing; as well as the pilot “The Wilds,” created by Sarah Streicher with Jamie Tarses and Dylan Clark producing for Amazon. Hello Sunshine and ABC Signature start production on “Little Fires Everywhere” next year with Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington starring and executive producing. These projects join a robust slate of returning series, including the critically acclaimed comedy “SMILF” for Showtime, “grown-ish” for Freeform, “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” for Freeform and “Marvel’s Runaways” for Hulu.

ABC Studios International is the international division of ABC Studios, a global leader in the development, production and distribution of entertainment content, and the home of “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Lost,” “How to Get Away with Murder,” “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Desperate Housewives,” “American Crime,” “Guerrilla,” “Quantico,” “Designated Survivor,” “Scandal,” and many more. ABC News

ABC News is responsible for all of The ABC Television Network’s news programming, including broadcast, digital and radio. ABC’s award-winning newscasts include “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight with David Muir,” “Nightline,” “20/20” and “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.” ABC’s “The View” joined the news division in 2014; and in 2018, ABC News acquired renowned data journalism organization FiveThirtyEight. NewsOne, the affiliate news service of ABC News, provides live and packaged news, sports and weather reports as well as footage of news events to over 200 ABC affiliates and more than 30 domestic and international clients.

The ABC Owned Television Stations Group includes WABC-TV New York, KABC-TV Los Angeles, WLS-TV Chicago, WPVI-TV Philadelphia, KGO-TV San Francisco, KTRK-TV Houston, WTVD-TV Raleigh-Durham and KFSN-TV Fresno. The eight owned stations reach 22.5% of all U.S. television households.
